OAKLAND, CA. – (October 3, 2024) – Fair Trade USA announced a key addition to its core leadership team. Dana Dufresne will serve as the organization’s Chief Growth Officer.
Dana comes to Fair Trade USA with over two decades of sales leadership and a distinguished career in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. Her extensive experience spans multiple segments including dairy, beverage, confectionery, and produce.

Dana has spent over 20 years efficiently scaling organizations to have a broader and more powerful impact. She is skilled in all aspects of sales with a focus on team leadership and strategic operations. She has held pivotal roles at companies like Keurig Dr Pepper, Marich Confections, and Land O’ Lakes, Inc., as well as Vertage Foods, a tech startup focused on the plant-based dairy segment, and Bird Rock Imports, a wholesale company focused on natural, biodynamic, and organic wines and beers. In her work, Dana has become an expert in team building, leadership development, and innovative approaches to business development.

As Chief Growth Officer, Dana’s role will be instrumental in scaling the organization to meet the needs of the ever-growing network of businesses engaged with Fair Trade USA while continuing to support farmers and producers around the globe. She will oversee the ongoing work to implement a comprehensive growth strategy, lead new opportunities for expansion, and bolster relationships with global partners.
Outside of work, Dana is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She actively volunteers with the American Red Cross and Special Olympics. Dana is a proud mother of two sons and spends her spare time watching them play competitive baseball at the collegiate and high school level.
